Our Story

Since 1980, Home to Thousands of Amazing Vacations

Charlie Rossley bought this special place in 1980. Thousands of guests have called it home since. And Charlie keeps building: two new rooms recently and always the next improvement on the way. The resort you return to is always a little better than the one you left.

What hasn't changed is everything you come to Jamaica for in the first place: the people, the culture, the warm weather, the cliffs, the sea, and the sunsets. We've been here since 1980, and we're still just as intimate as we were the day Charlie bought this place on a torn paper bag offer. That's not changing. We have 19 rooms. That's it. And every single one has a view.

Location

We are on the West End cliffs of Negril, Jamaica, at the westernmost point of the island, on One Love Drive off West End Road. Seven Mile Beach is about 10 minutes away, and Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay is about 1.5 hours along the coast.

Check-In / Check-Out

Check-in is 3:00 PM and check-out is 11:00 AM. Early check-in and late check-out are available on request, subject to availability, and we store luggage for free on both ends. Arriving late at night? Message us with your time and we arrange for security or maintenance to meet you and show you to your room.

Airport Transfers

We arrange private transfers from Sangster International Airport (MBJ) in Montego Bay, for guests and visitors alike. Send us your flight details and we email you the price for your party; nothing is charged until you confirm. Your driver meets you at arrivals holding the Home Sweet Home sign, and the drive is about 1.5 hours along the coast.

Dining

Our cliffside restaurant serves breakfast and lunch daily in season, and dinner cooked to order when you ask by 2:00 PM; in the quieter months meals are planned with you a day ahead. The restaurant is open to the public, so friends staying elsewhere can join you at the table.

Activities

Right off the cliffs, our steps lead to a ladder straight into clear, deep water, with the reef beneath you for snorkeling, and Negril's famous sunset drops into the sea right in front of the deck. Boats pick up from the cliffs for the best reef spots and Booby Cay, and Seven Mile Beach is about ten minutes away by taxi. Ask us and we will set up the bigger days: Benta Falls, Mayfield Falls, YS Falls, the Blue Hole Mineral Spring, the Black River Safari, Floyd's Pelican Bar, the Appleton Estate, a sunset at Rick's Cafe, or a catamaran cruise.

Power and Water

The resort runs on solar first, 94 panels of it, with JPS grid power as the backup, and a backup water tank keeps showers and taps running through most shortages. The WiFi runs on the same solar supply, so the essentials stay on through most outages.

Connectivity

We offer fast Starlink WiFi throughout the property, including in all rooms and common areas, and our own solar power keeps the connection up during most outages. All rooms have a Smart TV. Cell service is available throughout the property.

Booking and Cancellation

Book direct for our best rate and the exact room you choose by number. A 50% deposit confirms your dates; the rest is due on arrival, or earlier in your guest portal. Cancel 30 or more days before arrival for a full refund of your deposit; inside 30 days it becomes a credit toward new dates, good for 12 months.
